WE ARE ON A MISSION TO CHANGE LIVES

India has the third largest number of HIV cases worldwide. Children living with HIV are turned away from family, school, and access to healthcare. Hope Now is the bridge to a new life.
Together with you, Hope Now saves the lives of HIV-positive children in south India.
We need your help. We need partners. 100% of your donations go to our kids.

Our Story

Roja is a smart, funny, determined young woman. Eleven years ago she and her brother Mahesh became part of the orphan family created as HIV/AIDS plowed into rural India. This is where our story began – a hot, dusty place called Chandrakal in the heart of south India.

In 2008, Hope Now was born out of a desperate need to serve HIV-positive children who had no place to go after their parents died of AIDS. We had 58 children before the year was out. From the first, Hope Now built this project with two primary goals – to create a loving home and educate our kids. We now reside in the Hyathnagar district in the state of Telangana and provide a quality education through college or a trade school for each of our kids. Our dream is to settle kids into communities of their own choosing when they are ready, with a college degree or trade school certificate in hand. When one transitions into adulthood our doors are open to another child in need.

Roja understands the value of hard work. She did not speak English when she came to us. For years, she has worked diligently to learn a new language with her eyes toward college. She is now studying at KIMS Medical College working toward a Bachelors degree in physical therapy.
